Brass Ring Dial late 17th or early 18th century, with chain, ring moves freely, dial engraved with letters, numbers and bunches of grapes.Ring Dials are early "pocket watches" one would set the dial to the current month and hold by the chain ,where the sun would act like a sun dial, shine though a hole and light a number on the opposite inner surface thus giving the time.
