This is an amazing patinated and well carved Leprechaun's head standing out from this decorative panel.
It looks like its been on from the start as it is attached by three wooden pegs.
Sold to me as 18th century but it could well be 19th. Possibly Irish.
Either way he's a beautifully carved and patinated cheeky chappy.
