English Lignum Vitae Wassail Bowl c.1660.
Turned from all heartwood. From a time when they had enough Lignum not to use the sapwood.
No real condition issues minor standard cracking to bottom of bowl otherwise all good.
Nice size, natural colour, later initials under foot. awaiting a proper polish.
A good clean honest, well patinated example.
