Sensational and unbelievably lovely, rare, diminutive English Mid 17th century Goblet. Wonderful deeply domed, pole lathed turned base with owners initials " S I " or " I S " depending which way round you hold it!
The Sycamore or Fruitwood is so patinated its hard to tell which it is made from. the base is very pleasingly shaped like a gentle steeple.
