This is arguably one of the finest pairs of  Late 19th Century Carved wooden (pine) and painted Trophy Salmon Fishes.

These Fishes are of such quality they can only be by the master carver , painter and founder of the finest ( Rolls Royce ) maker  Mr. John Bucknell Russell of the Fochabers Studio , established around 1872.
