English 18th Century Negus Strainer

Rare  little English 18th century Negus Strainer, sycamore. Lovely patination, shape and form.

Old hole on one wing made to hang on a hook i presume.

Just near the hook hole the is a tiny area which looks a bit like wood filler, aprox 1cm x 1/2cm . it is only a slight discolourisation on the surface, it could be more professionally coloured out, its very small , doesnt distract and doesnt go all the way through, eg just on the top surface. i only mention it to be super accurate.
