This lovely dog portrait of a sighthound is an English, oil on canvas laid onto artists board, early 19th century, has had a hard life and may have been reduced but as you can see all the important bits are still there. A very nice dark image of a disproportionate dog against a small background. An atmospheric charming naive painting.
