Interesting Victorian Metal Snuff box. This box Pricks the unwary when they try to steal a pinch of snuff from your box. Within the obvious button on the front, when depressed,  a pin is exposed and gives you a prick !  The way the box is opened is to slide the  whole lid foward and folds back on its hinge!!!
