An attractive Dutch or Scottish church warden's pipe stand, having a circular base with shaped alternate staves of birch and mahogany, that has a circular brass tray and is raised on three bun feet with original paper covering the underside. The barley twist central column has a circular platform with three pierced holes below the  bobbin turned finial. The whole is made of various separate sections and has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
