English Treen Large Snuff Box. 19th century

Fabulous Lignum Vitae Circular Snuff Box with probably a gold cartouche in the centre depicting a Horse and inscribed "This Box is made from part of the Powder Mills which was blown up at Waltham Abbey 13th April 1843 ?? Marsom Enfield Highway"

There is circular Cork? leather? lining on the inside of the lid.  A few historic restored ccracks to lid and some old shakes to the base. The box is unpolished and will shine up well.
