Interesting Sun faded Rosewood item in 3 sections, lid, middle and bottom. Lid comes off and is hollow going down BUT doesn't go through to the inner upper section of the middle bit.

The space inside the middle and bottom section is spherical in shape.  19th Century. No idea of usage. 

Minor damage to one side of middle section.
